Plustech receives a contract from M/s. Ashok Leyland Ltd for setting up a new Powder Coating Plant at their Hosur facility. Once commissioned the plant can produce 70K sets / annum on 3 shift basis (Phase-1) expandable to 140K sets/annum in (Phase-II).
Scope of supply under the contract includes Conveyorized Shot blasting machine, Industrial Washing machine, Pre-treatment system with accessories, Gas fired Infrared Ovens (Pre Gel), Ovens with heat recovery systems, Powder coating system with Air handling units & Automated material handling system. The plant to its credit will have many unique features like handling FSM on roller conveyors (hanger less design), SCADA with fault recognitions & further Industry 4.0 features, Optical Characteristic Recognition system (OCR) which can detect alphanumeric data on the FSM & generate QR code & paste them automatically on FSM.
